Ravi Bhatia aka Prince Salim of ‘Jodha Akbar’ to be replaced?

As per public demand, the story of ZEE TV’s ‘Jodha Akbar’ is back to focus on Jodha (Paridhi Sharma) and Jalaluddin Akbar’s (Rajat Tokas) love story. Of late, we have been watching Jalal being trapped by a witch named Laboni who is trying to seduce him for an ulterior motive. As for Salim (Ravi Bhatia) and Anarkali’s (Heena Parmar) love saga, it is going strong, but the makers are keen on taking the story ahead in the coming weeks. Why, you may wonder? Well, here’s the scoop. An entertainment site reports that Ravi’s act has not been making the kind of ripples it was expected to make. So, to rev-up the story a bit and spruce up the overall look of the show, the makers have planned to rope in a new face in Ravi’s place. There is a short leap in store in the forthcoming tracks that will show Salim grown-up from a teenager into a man. The auditions for the new Salim are on and soon the makers will zero on a new actor. There has been no confirmation about the replacement from the makers’ part. So, we have to wait and watch to know if the news of replacement is real or just pure gossip.
