WEDNESDAY UPDATE ON COLOR OF PASSION - EPISODE 27 Lucia finds Nora's pregnancy test under the pillow but sNora a pro at lying lands on her feet! She tells Lucia that it's Gloria's! Why her (sNora's) name isn't even on the test. Lucia still skeptical wonders why Snora has it. Because I'm her friend and she didn't want her parents to find it. Lucia presses further for the truth but sNora sticks with the lie and drags poor Sergio into it. I'm not going to abandon my friend the way Sergio did….yes it's true he's the father! Why do you think I broke up with him? *sniff-sniff* Lucia seems convinced now and sNora asks Lucia to keep the secret, or Gloria would never forgive her. Just then Rebe comes in, assuming that the girls are having another disagreement, but sNora pooh-poohs the comment. Lucia excuses herself. Mario is apparently not too pleased with the work Rodrigo did and he calls in Ligia who defends Rod as "still new to the job" Mario senses that Ligia is bit to keen on Rod and warns her not to get too close to Amador Zuniga's son. Maintain your distance! Ligia assures her boss there's nothing to worry about, but outside his office Ligia seems bummed that her cougar ways may have just been leashed! sNora learns mama went to see Dr. Ezquerra! Why? Rebe says because she wanted to make sure Zara wouldn't mention to Alonso that sNora had decided to ditch the rest of the tests scheduled to search for her brain. sNora wonders if Dr. E said anything else regarding the tests already run. Rebe tells her no that most likely Zara is waiting to gather all the tests so she can evaluate them. It's best if you finish what we started. sNora tells her mom not to pressure her. Rebe thinks they won't be able to avoid Alonso for long. Lalo can't stop thinking about that fire and he tells Marcelo he's positive he shut that door. Marcelo tells him he believes Lalo. Lalo tells Marcello that the only one's who have keys are Lalo, Naz, Alonso and …..Amador Zuniga! Him too? Oh yeah he's the bosses partner. But that day he was run out of there, so I didn't think much about it. What if it was him wanting to get retaliation on you or Nazario? Marcelo doesn't think it's a good idea for Lalo to go around discussing something he can't prove. He's going to make enemies. Lalo says he'll be quiet, but just know that if one day they come in and the merchandise and company are destroyed, Amador will be happy. Amador learns Alonso is looking into hiring a security guard after what happened. Amador wonders if Al isn't over reacting a bit..after all the fire was just an electrical accident. Al thinks if a security guard had been on duty, firefighters could have been called and things would have been handled much more quickly. He also tells Amador that Marcello is going to be in charge of finding the new security, unless of course Amador prefers to be in charge. No, but I wonder why you have so much confidence in this super guy? Al says he just does. Amador wonders if it's because Lucia has a thing for Marcelo. Al says on the contrary, his daughter doesn't have any thing for Marelo, she could barely tolerate him until he saved Nazario. Amador says he was obviously misinformed because he thought there was something between the two. Al says no, but if there were, it wouldn't bother him a bit. Amador says that's very clear. Lucia tells Tere she is on her way to her GossipParents when Gloworm barges in with all her rudeness, almost knocking Lucia over. She rants to Lucia about how untrustworthy sNora is ..blah bah blah. Lucia graciously tells Gloworm that with all her heart she hopes that things work out well for her. What? What are you talking about? Just then sNora runs down the stairs…oh never mind, I'll explain what my sister is talking about. Let's go talk in the garden shall we? Oh now you want to talk? Gloworm says yanking sNora by her arms. Al tells Marcelo he's in charge of finding a security guard. He can handle it however he pleases, an agency, newspaper ad, just let Al know when he's found someone. Marcelo says he'll get on it right away. The subject shifts to Lucia and the catalog and Marcelo tells Al that Lucia came by earlier with the catalog for Marcelo to look at. Marcelo wonders if it would be okay to come by Al's house that night to discuss it. Al says only if Marcelo will come for dinner, provided it won't bother his mother. Marcelo says his mother has gone back to Mexico, her visit was not a comfortable one. Al is sorry but then shifts it back to Lucia, so is it true what I heard? There is something between you and my daughter? Marcelo smiles…no it's just a rumor. *For now* ;-) Gloworm is dragging sNora. You are the worst…you left me hanging there..and I was calling and calling..but the princess couldn't be bothered to answer! sNora tells her she's sorry but she fell asleep. Gloworm thinks sNora should come up with a better excuse. sNora says it's true she had a bad day of tests..you can even ask Leti, it was her mother who did them. Gloworm doesn't care sNora should have told her. Well what's so urgent? sNora aks. Gloworms needs confirmation are you done with Sergio? sNora assures her she is, he's all Gloworms. Gloworm says is it because you're tired of him or you found someone new? sNora says a bit of both. Well who is this unfortunate new guy? Gloworm asks. sNora isn't ready to divulge him just yet. Gloworm wonders what Lucia was talking about and mocks her. sNora says she was talking about your situation with Sergio. Well what does she care? Indeed..wtf would Lucia care about your shrill homely ass Gloworm. My goodness..poor Sergio needs to get on match.com or something. He's sunk so low with Glo and Snora. Just then sNora's phone interrupts and she bails. "It's the lab, gotta go Glo!" #TheseBitchesAreAnnoying Trini is fussing over Naz by placing a napkin on his chest but he thinks she's treating him like a child. Trini says she's leaving Naz for Lucia to deal with. Naz brings up Marcelo and notices Lucia's cool response. Are you still distrusting of him? Well sometimes I think he's honest with me and other times he's not. Naz wonders regarding what? Lucia says like his personal life. Well what does his person life have to do with you? Did Naz just say that? Mr McNosy is all up in everyone's business. Anyway..Lucia says she is just looking out for her father since Marcelo works with him. Naz goes along with her lame excuse..oh of course, well your Dad is safe with Marcello, just as a girl like you would be. Lucia grins and wonders why her Godfather would say such a thing. Naz says because it just popped into his head. Lucia says it's time for him to eat and she proceeds to feed him…like a child. Marcelo comes home to find his nightmare…er Mama still there. Didn't I make it clear last night that I wanted you gone when I got home? Milagro's does a bit of groveling. She's sorry. She won't interfere in his life again. Marcelo thinks the only way that can happen is if she's a safe distance from him. She pleads…he's the only son she has left and she couldn't bear to lose him too! Milagros wants to stay just a few days more but Marcelo doesn't think there's any reason. Milagros thinks they need to start over and try again, give her another chance. Marcelo sweetie that he is, relents. Milagros promises she will behave and he won't hear one complaint from her. We learn that the texting sNora got was from Rod. He still hasn't figured out how to get his little rod out of trouble. He tells her, he doesn't have experience with this sort of stuff. He suggests sNora go to Dr. E with this, but sNora says that is not her specialty and she'd probably run to tell her parents. Rod is furious with sNora and claims this is all her fault..she planned this. sNora is taken aback how could I have planned this? Rod reminds her that she claimed to have picked the perfect time for her to get pregnant. Snora denies it..and Rod loses it, rearing back his hand as if to strike her. Shut up! Snora insists they have to find a way to resolve this, they can't be the only couple in that city who have been put in this situation. Someone must know someone who can take care of this for them. Rebe fibs to Alonso that sNora couldn't keep her test appt because the ultrasound machine broke. Alonso doesn't understand why she couldn't go somewhere else to have the test run. Rebe tells him to be patient. Sara will handle it. Alonso says he's just ready for sNora to complete the tests. By the way, Marcelo is coming for dinner this evening. Why? Rebe asks. Because he wants to go over the catalog that Lucia is working on for the fabrica. Rebe says she wasn't aware they were working together. Al says they aren't but he asked both of them to help him with the catalog project. Do you think there are some feelings developing for Lucia on Marcelo's part? Rebe wonders why Al is asking. He tells her that Amador said something earlier that made him wonder if perhaps he (Al ) was the only one who was out of the loop. Rebe says she hadn't noticed anything but by the look on Al's face the idea clearly doesn't bother him. Just so you know, I'm not in agreement. Why not? Rebe says because we don't know anything about him, where he comes from. Al is surprised..he thought Rebe liked Marcelo. Well I do, but I also liked Ricardo Marquez and look how that turned out. Okay, that's a call for Ricardo to rear his slimey behind. Leti comes in asking how Al liked Lucias catalog design. Well he says he liked it but then he asks Marcello to make any revisions to it. Lucia is highly annoyed, she wants to do this on her own and not have to work with Marcelo. Leti thinks it's silly the things that Lucia gets annoyed over..she wishes she had a father around even if she argued with him. Lucia counters back that she feels the same way about Leti having a mother around. Well yeah but it's not the same thing says Leti, you at least knew who your mother was and you have photos. I know nothing about my father, not even a picture. Lucia realizes her friend is right and wonders if there isn't anything Leti's other may have told her about her father. Leti tearfully says no, it's not something she can bring up with her mother. She doesn't know if he's alive or dead or if he's even here or somewhere else. Right then Magda comes upon them and eavesdrops just outside the door. Leti goes on to tell Lucia that when she was little she found a letter in her mother's drawer and she could swear it was from her father because when her mother found her with it, she became nervous and took the letter. She then ripped it up and left the room crying. Leti was so upset to see her mother that way so she never brought I up again, but she will never forget that letter or the name of the man on that letter…his name was Ricardo. "Ricardo!" Magda repeats while bursting in like a federal investigator. "What Ricardo? Please Leti tell me the complete name of that man! Why don't you answer me? Give me the last name of that man!" Magda scares the poor girl and she insists she doesn’t know and that might not even be her father's first name, that's just what she concluded and her mother never confirmed it. Frustrated Magda presses her further. "Are you sure? Didn't you ever ask your mother?" Lucia puts a stop to Magda's out of line questioning and Magda realizes how insane she was behaving. She apologizes to an upset Leti who says she needs to leave. Lucia admonishes her Tia, saying Leti rarely opens up about her father and then Magda made a fool of herself and scared Leti. Magda reminds Lucia of the man who ditched her at the altar, but Lucia says there are lots of Ricardo's in the world. Magda says yeah there are many but the coincidence of the name stirred up emotions . Lucia says yes, but as you say it was just a coincidence. Al comes in and Magda says she has to leave to the hospital, Al assures her she can stay as long as she likes, but she leaves anyway. Alone with Lucia, Al informs her that Marcelo will be coming for dinner tonight. Lucia is not too happy. Marcelo is about to leave for said dinner, when Rafi stops him to thank him for going easier on Mili and accepting her apology. Marcelo isn't so sure it was a good idea, but Rafi assures him that his mother will behave. He asks about his mother's whereabouts and Mili tells him she has gone out for a few things she needed. This makes Marcelo nervous for obvious reasons, but Rafi says she can not be with Mili all the time and there's no need to worry. Mili learned her lesson and she won't be bothering his girlfriend anymore. Marcelo reminds Rafi that Lucia is not his girlfriend but Rafi assures him that soon enough she will be. Marcelo tells Rafi he will be eating dinner at his bosses house, and Rafi teases him at Lucia's house. Marcelo asks Rafi not to tell his mother about any of this and she agrees. He dashes off, but not before planting a loving kiss on Rafi's cheek. Meanwhile his overbearing mother is down at the pharmacy purchasing a long distance calling card to call guess who? Daniella! Ugh! Rod comes into work and Ligia tells him the boss is looking for him, it appears that Mario found something in his work that was wrong. Rod says his mind has been distracted lately and Ligia asks if she can help. Rod declines the offer but then changes his mind, well maybe she would be the best one.. The best one for what she asks? It's obvious she's thinking of helping him in a more horizontal way. Rod says it's about a friend, but he shouldn't be discussing his friends personal problems with her. Ligia leans her girls forward so Rod can get a glimpse and tells him that one of the best things about secretary's is that they are discreet. Me thinks Rod is going to get his rod in trouble again. Jumpy and easily rattled sNora jumps when Lucia comes upon her in the hallway. How's Gloria? Lucia asks. Well how do you think she is carrying around a problem of this size? sNora further chastises Lucia for opening her mouth to Gloria after sNora had told her to keep quiet. Lucia says she was just trying to be friendly and comforting to Gloria. Lucia wonders why sNora is acting so weird. Because I'm worried about my friend..anyway I think she's going to come out of this situation pretty soon. Lucia wonders what that means, but sNora tells her to mind her biz. Lucia says sNora needs to be a good friend and not let her make a wrong decision. sNora says her friend knows what she's doing and Lucia needs to stay out of it! Magda stops by the hospital on the pretext of getting a refill for Naz's leg from Dr. E; but wastes no time in bringing up Leti's father. So I heard your daughter talking earlier with Lucia about her father..is it true she doesn't know his name? Zara confirms it and Magda like a dog with a bone asks why Zara hasn't told her. Because he's not a man who is worth talking about with her daughter or anyone. In other words mind your biz Magda! Magda says they both have a lot in common. A man left Zara a single mother and a man left Magda at the altar. Zara wonders if Magda ever heard from Ricardo Marquez again. Nope it's as if the earth swallowed him up. Zara says that's exactly how it was with Leti's father. It appears to me that Magda's bs. Radar is up! She's not buying a bit of what Zara is saying. Brigiduh comes by to see Rebe. She spills the tea on Nora and Rod still hanging out. It please her that not everyone has frozen Rod out. Rebe wonders how Brigiduh knows. Well because Norita came by to see Rod yesterday! That doesn't bother you does it? Rebe keeps her cool. Oh no, Nora is old enough to make her own decisions but the one who'll be pressed is her sister. Brigiduh doubts that since Lucia is all about her new boo. Rebe says nah…that's just a rumor. The truth is that Lucia is still in love with Randy Rod! After scrambling Brigi's brain with that bit of info, Rebe excuses herself to get Brigi some refreshments. Meanwhile Ligia comes in to Rod's office with her girls on display. She gives Rod an envelope and tells him this person can probably help him. Rod is very grateful! Sergio crosses paths with Ligia, but has obviously witnessed the whole exchange. He asks what Rod is so grateful for. Rod tells him Ligia helped him with some documents that had errors on them. Sergio notices that Ligia and Rod get on well and perhaps…? Rod says nope. Sergio says he thinks it's strange that a woman like Ligia is unmarried with no kids or even a boyfriend. Rod says some people choose to stay single. Sergio says maybe but it's strange. Maybe she's involved with a married man who has lots of kids. Rod says whatever..people are free to live their lives however. Rebe drags sNora later that night. Why did you go see Rod? sNora says it's no big deal he wasn't even home. The point is you went looking for him…what are you thinking? sNora struggles..it's obvious she wants to tell her mother but thinks better of it. I went to see Rod because I'm still bothered by what he told Sergio and I want to know what he's going to do. Rebe tells her daughter to get over it, if Sergio or Rod were going to tell Lucia they would have by now. sNora says her mom needs to put herself in her shoes. Rebe says it's time for sNora to let it go. sNora agrees and ushers her mom out of the room but not before an astute Rebe asks if her daughter isn't hiding something from her. Rebe reminds her daughter that she has always been by her side and supported her. Snora says she knows..her mother is the only person who supports her and that she can confide in. Rebe tells her to shut the door but not so sNora can confide in her, but so that Rebe can tell her that Marcello is coming for dinner and she wants her daughter to pull herself together. sNora says she won't be coming down to dinner, she has no desire to see Marcelo's hungry eyes on Lucia. Rebe says don't worry, nothing will be happening with those two. Lucia finishes putting on her lips and adjusting her dress, when she realizes the fuss she is going to for Marcelo. She questions herself as to why she is doing this; when an excited Tere comes to tell her that the fetching papasito is downstairs! Lucia's face lights up and instead of questioning herself again, she gives herself a spritz of perfume! Ooh la la! Game on girl! Brigi comes home and tells her Amadiva that she just came from visiting Rebe and she told her that Lucia and Marcelo aren't an item. Amadiva says yeah Alonso told me the same thing. Well then why did Rod say he saw them kissing? He wouldn't make something like that up? Who knows what her intentions were for telling you that. Brigi thinks what Rebe told her is true…Lucia is still in love with Rod. Pffft…please wifey whatever Rebe told you that relationship is dead. If Marcelo and Lucia don't have a thing right now..they will soon. Marcelo would be a fool to not pursue an opportunity like that. Lucia makes a stunning entrance into the sitting room where Marcelo is waiting with the catalog. Our blooming couple smile at each other as fetching papasito tells Lucia how beautiful she looks. *sigh* Now I'm melting for these two. Lucia wonders where her father is and Marcelo says he thinks in his study looking for something. The two are unable to take their eyes off each other and finally Marcelo asks if she'd like to go over the catalog now. Lucia agrees but suggests they head out to the garden. Que Romantico! Alonso comes back with a bottle of wine but he notices that his daughter and Marcelo have gone off alone. He smiles pleased and aware of what is possibly happening. Rebe comes in and wonders if he lost something. Al says no, he was going to have Marcelo try some of this wine but he's gone out to the garden with Lucia. Al asks about Nora and Rebe tells her she is laying down for a bit as she wasn't feeling well. Al says this is precisely why he wants her to finish those tests. Rebe says she will. Trini finds Magda out in her garden sitting alone. What are you thinking about? Ricardo Marquez. Trini wonders what brought him to her mind. Magda confides to Trini what happened between her and Leti. It was a foolish misunderstanding but it left her uncomfortable and thinking about Ricardo. Trini wonders why. Magda realizes that Ricardo didn't ditch her because he stopped caring about her, it was because of something else. Like what? Trini asks. Magda says like perhaps he had a commitment to someone else and didn't have the guts to tell her. Trini thinks he would have told her. The door buzzes and Magda says she'll get it. It's Mario! He's come to take Magda for the coffee they had planned. Magda appears to have forgotten but she recovers nicely saying she didn't forget but Trini prepared a dinner. Trini doesn't let her off the hook though and comes to the door with Magda's purse..oh no worries that dinner will keep. You go have coffee! Mario is pleased and assures Trini he'll have Magda back in a little while, but Trini is all about Magda getting her groove back. Me too Trini, I can't bear to see a woman pine 20+ years later for a dude that left her at the altar. Marcelo and Lucia are enjoying each other's company. Marcelo had no idea how talented Lucia was, but she thinks not so much if he had all these revisions. He says they were minor little details and besides she is the expert. Lucia thinks maybe her father asked him to not be so hard on her. Marcelo says no why would he do that? Lucia confides that she thinks her father gave her the job so she would have something else to think about besides Rodrigo. Marcelo says it's not so easy for her to stop thinking about him or removing him from her heart. Lucia becomes uncomfortable and rises, saying she doesn't want to talk about that anymore. Marcelo grabs her hand and asks her to at least give him a chance to help her. Help me what? Forget about that. And how would you be able to help me? She asks breathlessly aware that he is close enough now to kiss her. I think you know very well he says while giving her that charming lopsided smile. Slowly he comes in for a sweet kiss. The music swells and so does our hearts as their lips meld together. They pull apart, look into each others hearts and realize magic has just happened.They come back together this time for a deeper kiss. Aaaah! And now I'm hooked! But ruh roh..off in the distance on the porch is Rebe lurking..she sees the passionate kisses and realizes she was wrong. There is most definitely something going on alright! Take it away Faith!
